The Denali Grizzly Bear Resort offers a variety of Cabin rentals, enjoy a home-like cabin with your own deck and beautiful view or choose a more rustic accommodation—each cabin is unique and placed into its own wooded setting.
Some of our cabins are original "turn-of-the-century" buildings that have been transported to the Denali Grizzly Bear and carefully restored. Other cabins are reproductions of authentic Alaska cabins. Each cabin is unique and placed into its own wooded setting. You can drive right to your cabin door.
Surroundings: Relax in a clean, heated cabin with a good bed after your day's adventure in the Park. Breathe in the clean, invigorating air of the surrounding snowcapped mountains as you enjoy some munchies (our store has a good selection of soda, ice cream, beer, wine, spirits and snacks). Relax and watch the river roll by. However you choose to spend your time, you're sure to enjoy your stay at the Denali Grizzly Bear Resort.
Variety: Some cabins have all the conveniences of home, while others are more rustic in nature - no need to worry though, as we have centralized restroom facilities with running water and an easily accessible Laundromat. We want your stay to be as enjoyable as possible.
"The cabins at the Denali Grizzly Bear were very nice! Our room had a balcony that overlooked the river. A coffee pot allowed us to have a nice cup of Joe outdoors on the balcony, enjoying the birds and watching for wildlife. It was very gorgeous and relaxing! The rooms were nicely appointed with comfy linens, blankets and towels."Trip Advisor | July 7, 2015

"The cabin we stayed at was very clean, staff polite and knowledgeable. You can book tours at the front desk which is really convenient as we didn't have anything planned in advance. We didn't have any issues. There is a store on-site, you can get all the things your forgot to pack such as shavers, toothpaste, etc. The cabin had soap, shampoo, conditioner and make up remover wipes. Great view of the river!"Trip Advisor | June 16, 2015
The park's 2,000 caribou roam in groups. During early summer, they can be seen in open areas east of the Savage River. Later in the summer, you'll find them on gravel bars and ridges west of Sable Pass. In the summer, both male and female caribou have antlers. Older bulls have a white chest and branch-like antlers. Caribou favor open tundra, where they find lichens and escape the bugs.
